They’re applied directly to the roof substrate, making them a fast and economical choice.

What is the maximum pitch for a single-ply roof?

Single-ply membranes can be installed on vertical walls. For higher walls and roofs with a 4:12 pitch or greater, additional securement methods are required to ensure they're safe, long-lasting and maintain their watertight properties.

Maintaining a single-ply roof requires regular inspections, cleaning debris and any films or chemicals on the surface, making small repairs on penetrations and seams, and ensuring there isn’t any excessive ponding.
How are single-ply roofs installed?

Single-ply roofs are installed by rolling out long strips of EPDM, TPO, PVC, or other materials across the roof. The seams between the strips are either chemically adhered with tapes, adhesives or heat-welded together to create one watertight membrane.
