Waterproofing & Coatings

Description:

Water finds the details: seams, penetrations, terminations, and every transition where the building envelope meets. Nations Roof seals those surfaces with fully bonded, fluid-applied monolithic membranes (silicone, PMMA, or polyurethane matched to the substrate), shaped to every detail with no seams to fail, then verified with a final inspection before we sign off. We help you stop chasing leaks and protect your roofing assets for good.

Waterproofing & Coatings

A commercial roof seldom fails out in the open area. Water finds the details. The seams, penetrations, terminations, and transitions where materials meet. Parapet copings, pitch pockets, drains and scuppers, expansion joints and wall terminations.

Every joint is a place for water to find a way in and it goes well beyond the roof, plaza and podium decks, parking structures, planters and green roofs, balconies and below grade walls. Anywhere water meets the structure. We seal those surfaces with a fluid applied monolithic membrane, silicone, PMMA or polyurethane chosen for the substrate. Bonded fully and shaped to every detail with no seams to fail.

We don't assume it's watertight, we prove it. We run a final inspection before we ever sign off. Where the roof is sound, a silicone restoration membrane renews it in place and adds reflectivity, extending service life for a fraction of a full tear off.

Backed by an industry leading EMR for safety and certified applicators installing warranty compliance systems from every major manufacturer.

FAQs

Where do most roof leaks start?

Rarely in the open field of the roof. Water finds the details: seams, penetrations, drains, terminations, and the transitions where materials meet. That is why waterproofing is detail work, and why the quality of the crew matters more than the product on the label.

What is a fluid-applied membrane?

A coating that goes on wet and cures into one continuous, fully bonded membrane shaped to every detail of the surface. Because it is monolithic, there are no seams to fail. We select silicone, PMMA, or polyurethane based on the substrate and how the surface is used

Can coating really extend my roof life instead of replacing it?

If the roof is structurally sound, yes. A restoration membrane renews it in place, adds reflectivity, and extends service life for a fraction of the cost of a tear-off, with far less disruption to the building below.
